Commissioner Kevin Marino Cabrera spearheaded legislation today that calls on President Biden, U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland, Governor Ron DeSantis, and Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody to prosecute all culpable parties in the murders of Brothers to the Rescue members Carlos Costa, Armando Alejandre, Jr., Mario de la Peña and Pablo Morales.

Commissioner Kevin Marino Cabrera Calls on Congress to Deliver Tax Relief for Homeowners

The Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved a resolution sponsored by Commissioner Kevin Marino Cabrera, urging Congress to pass Senator Rick Scott’s proposed bill aimed at providing much-needed tax relief for homeowners. The bill would allow a federal income tax deduction for premiums paid on homeowners’ insurance.
